The Footprints Program includes two dynamic talks about child abuse, trafficking of minors and domestic violence, one of which is for the minors and the other for the parents.\"Programa\"<\/a><\/p>\n

  1. The talk for the children. With the help of our puppet friends, Archiblue, 4 Pelos y Tostito, who present a diversity of dangerous situations, we can interact with the boys and girls to teach them important and necessary concepts for their age. For example, what types of abuse exist, what are their rights and who they can go to if they need help. In working with the kids we include games and giggles, which help us so that the topics that we desire to share, stay recorded in their minds and that they may learn to say NO! to abuse.\"Nuestro<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. The talk for the parents and adults. Meanwhile the children receive their talk, the parents are taken to another auditorium where they receive a talk about the same topics as their children but from an adults perspective. They, in the same manner, learn how to protect the kids and what are the legal consequences that may occur due to allowing child labor, the \u201crenting\u201d of their children, or abusing them.\"Programa<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    With the conclusion of the talks, we carry out the donation of a pair of socks, shoes, and a towel to each minor. This donation is made in a special manner by volunteers who wash the kid\u00b4s feet and put on their new socks and shoes. This is a clear message of protection, care and love. The children can see and feel that what was learned is a reality and they learn to trust in these adults.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
