Huellas reaches 1,023 children in July.

This 5th of July interSalud carried out two Footprints programs in the province of Chimborazo, reaching a total of 1,023 children and their parents.

After our previous tip to the city of Riobamba, we were asked to return to the surrounding area to carry out Footprints for another 1,023 children from 9 different schools. On this occasion we worked in two communities, Cocan and Pueblo Viejo, located one hour away from the Riobamba to prevent child abuse prevention, trafficking of minors and domestic violence.

Each child recieved an Archi Coloring Page, a new pair of socks, shoes and a wash cloth. After receiving this gift they were awaited by a team of volunteers who washed their feet and put on their new socks and shoes.
